As part of an initiative to deliver e-terratrade as the highest performing platform in the generation market, Dunstan Thomas has started a big data project working with BMRA data.

The next e-terratrade User Group is planned for the 21st January, hosted by Seabank Power in Avonmouth. We will be looking at the progress made on the new UI’s as well as demonstrating the new EMR functionality.

As part of the strategic development of e-terratrade, Dunstan Thomas has initiated an upgrade development to re-new the user interface to improve functionality, efficiencies and user journeys in a modern looking UI. The first module under development is GMM (Generation Monitor).

Following on from successful go-live of Severn Power Station with e-terratrade, Sutton Bridge has been added to the Macquirie Power Funds group. Sutton Bridge has been added to the Macquirie Power Funds portfolio, making the number of stations three in total.

Dunstan Thomas completed the implementation of e-terratrade at the Severn Power Station. Severn is part of the Macquirie Power Funds group and represents their expansion in the UK power generation market.

Dunstan Thomas has now completed compatibility testing of e-terratrade against the following:

  • Windows 2008 Server
  • Oracle 11 64 bit
  • Microsoft Hyper V
  • Windows 7

This means that e-terratrade can now be deployed into these environments. We have also conducted an online survey with e-terratrade customers and the feedback will help drive forward the product roadmap and workgroup items for the next Expert Group meeting to be arranged in Q1 2013.

May 2012

Dunstan Thomas has been appointed Reseller status by Alstom for the development, supply and delivery of the e-terratrade product suite. This paves the way for the development of the new National Grid EDL*/EDT* interfaces together with enhancements covering the ARENH market change in France.

This follows Alstom selecting Dunstan Thomas in 2010 to provide support and development services for the e-terratrade product suite servicing the 24x7 operations of electricity generators and traders in the UK BETTA market and electricity retailers in the French CRE.
