Dunstan Thomas hires two senior industry figures to help drive continued growth after record year
Natanje Holt, managing director of retirement solutions specialist Dunstan Thomas, has been elected chair of the Retirement Advisory Council of the Tax Incentivised Savings Association (TISA). Natanje is joined by Robert Reid, managing director of Syndaxi Chartered Financial Planners and regular Money Marketing columnist. Robert becomes deputy chair of the council.
Natanje’s appointment comes after TISA’s recent success in stimulating market adoption of a new system for electronic re-registration of assets. TISA’s Retirement Advisory Council will be defining and agreeing policies and standards to support platforms and product providers in areas as diverse as pensions transfers, RDR compliance and auto-enrolment.
Natanje Holt, managing director of Dunstan Thomas, commented “The council will be involved in defining standards and solutions associated with changes being brought about by RDR and auto-enrolment. There will be no shortage of issues to work through with this very able and experienced group.”
Malcolm Small, director of policy at TISA, commented on the new appointments: “The appointments of both Natanje and Robert to the two most senior positions at TISA’s Retirement Advisory Council will definitely help further bolster this council at a time when there will be much to discuss. Natanje’s experience in dealing with the practicalities of retirement solutions providers’ systems changes within Dunstan Thomas supports TISA’s industry-wide contribution which increasingly extends to helping to defining and recommending standards for administrative processes. Robert Reid is already a leading voice of the wealth management community and will bring a welcome additional dimension to the team.”
TISA represents the interests of over 130 firms involved in supplying, administering or distributing products to savers and investors. Its membership includes investment houses, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), product providers, wrap and platform providers, life companies, IT system providers, distributors, stockbrokers, banks and wealth management firms.
