Enhancements to Dunstan Thomas Imago Front Office set to help advisers achieve better retirement outcomes for customers

Imago’s new user interface allows for device flexibility and highly secure mobile delivery


The retirement solutions specialist Dunstan Thomas is rolling out a new version of its front-end software tool set, called Imago Front Office, designed for the new era of retirement planning. Existing customers Aegon, AJ Bell, Fidelity, Friends Life and Novia will receive the new version over the next three months. Dunstan Thomas will then be deploying it to a number of new provider customers.


The new version, called Imago Version 5, will offer advisers a highly tailorable and modern web interface which is adaptable enough to cope regardless of the device which is being used to access it. Other features include improved security and a new Application Programming Interface (API) for easier and deeper integration with existing legacy systems.

Natanje Holt, managing director, Dunstan Thomas, explained: “Providers are all too aware that they need to get better at providing policy holders with disclosure documentation on the move regardless of the device or web browser they are using. It is also clear that advisers want to stimulate greater engagement in saving for retirement; we must make it possible for policy holders to consider investment or decumulation options via a highly intuitive web interface.”

Dunstan Thomas is investing heavily this year to provide the underlying technology which will enable product providers, platforms and advisers alike to offer a high quality, modern front-end ‘look and feel’ designed to help policy holders to make investment selections or even explore at-retirement decumulation options within a secure browser session.
