Course Overview
This course aims to cover the fundamentals of Web Services to allow you to understand the benefits they can provide to your organisation

Web Services is a very loose term broadly classifying data interchange over networks. Web Services are defined standards, the benefits of which are that products and platforms that implement them to communicate seamlessly.

This one day course discusses these standards (SOAP, WSDL, UDDI), their innet workings and how they work in conjunction to allow platform/product independent communication.

The course exercises show the way web services operate through the use of standard XML tools (XMLSpy)
