We are toying with the idea of positioning Imago as an OEM product for Investment Administration platforms to adopt. This will allow them to better penetrate their core broker markets whilst providing a single branded proposition for their clients. I would be happy to have a powered by Imago as a comment in the vendors literature.
There are some key integration points that need to be met between the Investment Administration platform and Imago, for instance the provision of valuations. However there are some other areas of functionality that need to be addressed. Not least the question of which system owns the primacy of client information.
The OEM implementation of Imago will have to have this issue set out as a configuration option.
We will also deliver Imago Web as an alternative option to the Investment Administration provider to deliver underlying data/functionality sourced from collective systems. Imago Web is delivered as a framework that enables external systems to be plugged in.
