Imago Numerus

Imago Numerus is a deterministic calculation engine for that delivers illustrations and comparative product reporting services, supporting accumulation and de-accumulation strategies, asset allocation models and a flexible product set up configuration environment. Imago Numerus enables wrap platforms and provider websites to easily build a range of investment and pensions calculation services.

Imago Numerus provides straight through processing capabilities from other systems providing user, member, product and investment information to providing the illustration data to administration or new business application systems. This is done with web services where the XML messages follow the Origo standards. The Imago Numerus calculation engine can be called by an external request.

The request will contain:

• The type of illustration requested.
• All data to be used in the calculation of the illustration with the exception of charge definitions
• The Imago Illustration service will validate the supplied XML. Pre-population from the incoming message, of data items.

The request and response messages that are used in the call of Imago Numerus will be based upon the corresponding Origo schemas for Quotes/New Business. However, as these schemas are not exhaustive in scope, significant use is made of the Trading Partner Specific (TPSDATA) elements are used.
