Dunstan Thomas, has published a practical 24-page, A5-sized business guide, entitled ‘Opportunities in a regulated world’ as a direct response to last year’s A-Day and this year’s Regulation-Day affecting those in those operating in the Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPP) market. The guide is designed to help those responsible for change management programmes inside SIPP provider firms and Third Party Administrators (TPAs), as well as pensions-focused adviser firms wanting to take advantage of the changes.

Dunstan Thomas believes that contrary to what many have said, SIPP regulation is part of a journey for the market which has attracted a great deal of attention and money into this sub-market and led to providers now including it within their core pensions portfolio.

Dunstan Thomas highlights in the guide that for many in the industry with SIPP specialisms the future is very bright. It provides discussion and industry feedback the emergence of SIPPs from a niche product to becoming a mainstream pensions product. It also explores other identifiable impacts of A-Day, as well as the SIPP communities’ views on new COB, wrap platform selection and stochastic modelling, amongst other developments.
